SPRING/SUMMER 2026

Parallel Play

S/S ‘26 marks Fruity Venus’s first collection. It was developed slowly over several years as an exercise in close collaboration. The collection is about finding a midpoint between two designers who had never worked this intimately—sketching and draping side by side, testing each other’s instincts, and learning where ideas could merge rather than compete. Authentically spring in feeling, the garments favor sleeveless silhouettes, lightweight volume, and ease of wear. Bustle shapes are expressed without excess structure, allowing volume to feel fluid rather than precious. Utility elements contrast softer forms, while a distinctly American palette of rich khakis and punchy colors grounds the collection. Designed as a wardrobe, the garments are meant to mix and repeat, balancing youthful energy with clarity of construction. Fabrics range from satin wools to slubby jersey knits, and the intimacy of the process is reflected in a lookbook shot entirely within the designers’ apartment.
